FRANKFURT, Dec. 10 (Xinhua) -- German shares lost on Monday, with the benchmark DAX index down 166.02 points, or 1.54 percent, to close at 10,622.07 points.
Deutsche Bank lost the most among the blue chips, down by 5.55 percent, followed by multinational chemical and pharmaceutical company Bayer and material manufacturer Covestro, which lost 4.15 percent and 4.14 percent respectively.
European health care company Fresenius SE, housing association Vonovia and multinational chemical firm Linde were the only three winners, rising 2.28 percent, 1.19 percent and 0.07 percent respectively.
Chemical group BASF was the most traded share of the day with a turnover of 520.80 million euros (593.71 million U.S. dollars). Enditem
