TOKYO, Dec. 11 (Xinhua) -- Tokyo stocks closed lower Tuesday on market concerns about delay of a key parliamentary vote connected to Britain's exit from the European Union, coupled with jitters over Japan-U.S. trade talks on Japanese automakers.

The 225-issue Nikkei Stock Average lost 71.48 points, or 0.34 percent, from Monday to close the day at 21,148.02.

The broader Topix index of all First Section issues on the Tokyo Stock Exchange, meanwhile, lost 14.50 points, or 0.91 percent, to finish at 1,575.31.

Oil and coal product, mining, bank and auto-linked issues comprised those that declined the most by the close of play. Enditem
