HOUSTON, Dec. 12 (Xinhua) -- U.S. crude oil inventories decreased in the week ending Dec. 7, the U.S. Energy Information Administration (EIA) said in a report on Wednesday.
U.S. commercial crude oil inventories, excluding those in the Strategic Petroleum Reserve, decreased by 1.2 million barrels from the previous week.
At 442.0 million barrels, U.S. crude oil inventories are about 7 percent above the five-year average for this time of year.
In the previous week ending Nov. 30, the EIA reported a draw of 7.3 million barrels, which caused concerns on demand side. Enditem
