ADDIS ABABA, Dec. 21 (Xinhua) -- The following are news highlights in Ethiopia's major media outlets on Friday.

-- The House of People's Representatives has approved a new draft bill aimed at amending and establishing a commission in charge of regional boundaries and identity-related issues, which is accountable to Prime Minster Abiy Ahmed. (Ethiopian News Agency/ENA)

-- Djiboutian President Ismail Omar Guelleh has praised Ethiopian prime minister Ahmed for his commitments to regional peace and prosperity.

Speaking at the closing session of the three-day meeting of Djiboutian ambassadors and high-level diplomats on Thursday, Guelleh praised the Ethiopian premier for his deep-seated commitments to and considerable success in ensuring peace and stability in the region.
