MOSCOW -- The number of people killed in a residential gas explosion in Russia has increased to 38, the country's Emergency Ministry said Wednesday.

MOGADISHU -- Ten al-Shabab militants were killed on Thursday in an airstrike of an operation jointly conducted by the United States and Somali forces in southwest Somalia, state news agency reported.
