SHARAN, Afghanistan -- At least 10 civilians were killed and 13 others wounded after a bomb ripped through a district bazaar in eastern Afghan province of Paktika on Monday, a local official said.

"Ten martyred and 13 wounded civilians were admitted to a main hospital in the provincial capital Sharan city Monday morning following a bomb attack in Jani Khil district," Mohammad Raffah, a provincial health official, told Xinhua. (Afghanistan-Bomb Attack-Death)

ANKARA -- A Panamanian-flagged ship on Monday sank in the Black Sea off Turkey's northern province of Samsun, killing six crew members, state-run agency Anadolu reported.

After receiving a call from the ship of 13 crew members, a coastguard team was dispatched 124 km off the Samsun coast and saved seven of them, Anadolu cited the local governor as saying. (Turkey-Sinking)

BERLIN -- Price-adjusted new orders in November 2018 for Germany's manufacturing industry have decreased 1.0 percent on the previous month, the Federal Statistical Office (Destatis) announced on Monday.

LIBREVILLE -- Gabon has arrested four soldiers who attempted to take control of the national radio station on Monday morning, reported RFI radio quoting government spokesman Guy-Bertrand Mapangou as saying.

Soldiers entered the national radio station in Libreville around 4 a.m. local time to read a statement in which they announced the setting up of a "national council of the restoration." (Gabon-Coup) Enditem
