RABAT, Jan. 14 (Xinhua) -- The Moroccan Foreign Minister Nasser Bourita and his Comorian counterpart Mohamed El-Amine Souef discussed Monday in Rabat means to coordinate positions at several international fora.
El-Amine Souef told reporters after the meeting that the talks were an opportunity to discuss issues of common interest, on the top of which the challenges laying behind this year, particularly it is marked by the staging of several high-level consultations.
The next African summit will touch mainly on cooperation between the African Union and the European Union, El-Amine Souef noted, adding that the upcoming Arab League summit will discuss topics such as the Arab-Indian cooperation and this year will also see the Arab Economic and Social Development Summit in Beirut.
"Given the strategic relations between our two countries, we are conducting consultations to coordinate our positions on international fora," he stressed.
The Comorian foreign minister said he also handed his Moroccan counterpart a message from the Comorian President Azali Assoumani to Morocco King Mohammed VI. Enditem
