JOHANNESBURG, Jan.16 (Xinhua) -- South African President Cyril Ramaphosa said on Wednesday they are going to Davos with other social partners to present the united voice of a country which is open to business.

Ramaphosa said at the pre-World Economic Forum breakfast in Johannesburg that Davos would provide an opportunity to sell the country to potential investors.

"The mission is to seek investment for South Africa. As we work to grow our economy, create jobs and attract greater investment to our shores, Davos is an important opportunity to present South Africa to the international investor community," said the president.

He pointed out that government, business, labor and other social partners are working together to address the weak economic growth and stabilize state owned institutions.

Ramaphosa said they have a positive story to tell to the world as the country is undergoing renewal to turn around the economic growth.

The forum will be held from Jan 22-26 in Switzerland. Enditem
