FRANKFURT, Jan. 18 (Xinhua) -- German stocks rose on Friday, with the benchmark DAX index up 286.92 points, or 2.63 percent, to close at 11,205.54 points.
All 30 German blue chips gained on Friday. Global internet technology and financial services provider Wirecard won the most among the blue chips, with its shares up 4.79 percent. Automotive supplier Continental and chemical group BASF rose by 4.47 percent and 4.13 percent respectively.
BASF was the most-traded share with a turnover of 341.0 million euros (388.7 million U.S. dollars). Enditem
