Dollar changes hands in upper 109 yen range in early trade in Tokyo

TOKYO, Jan. 21 (Xinhua) -- The U.S. dollar changed hands in the upper 109 yen zone in early decals on Tokyo on Monday, largely in line with its levels in New York late last week
As markets opened here, the dollar was traded at 109.69-70 yen compared with 109.72-82 yen in New York and 109.36-37 yen at 5 p.m. on Friday in Tokyo.
The euro, meanwhile, fetched 1.1365-1365 dollars and 124.67-68 yen against 1.1356-1366 dollars and 124.66-76 yen in New York and 1.1391-1392 dollars and 124.57-61 yen in late Friday afternoon trade in Tokyo. Enditem
