FRANKFURT, Jan. 21 (Xinhua) -- German shares lost on Monday, with the benchmark DAX index down 69.34 points, or 0.62 percent, to close at 11,136.20 points.

Chemical and consumer goods company Henkel lost the most among the blue chips, down by 9.75 percent, followed by energy group RWE and telecommunications company Deutsche Telekom, which lost 3.11 percent and 2.42 percent respectively.

Global internet technology and financial services provider Wirecard, housing association Vonovia and sportswear and equipment maker Adidas were the top three winners, rising 2.77 percent, 1.50 percent and 0.98 percent respectively.

Henkel was the most traded share of the day with a turnover of 361.2 million euros (410.3 million U.S. dollars). Enditem
