WASHINGTON, Jan. 22 (Xinhua) -- The Houston Rockets announced Tuesday that the team has sent star forward Carmelo Anthony to the Chicago Bulls.
Anthony and the Rockets agreed to part ways last November after the Rockets found it hard to place the star in the team's offense system. Anthony played just 10 games for Houston.
Signed as a free agent this season, Anthony averaged a career-low 13.4 points in 29.4 minutes in his 10 games with the Rockets.
"Just some things don't work out," Rockets coach Mike D'Antoni said. "It just wasn't a good fit. Upstairs saw it and did something. He did everything possible to try to make it work. It just didn't work."
Anthony, a 10-time All-Star, will not play a game for the Bulls, who will trade or waive him in the near future. Earlier report said the Los Angeles Lakers have an interest in Anthony. Enditem
