GAZA, Jan. 31 (Xinhua) -- A senior Egyptian security delegation arrived in the Gaza Strip on Thursday evening for a two-day visit and will hold talks with the Islamic Hamas movement and other Palestinian factions, according to Palestinian security sources.

The sources told Xinhua that the delegation arrived in the Gaza Strip from the West Bank through Erez Crossing Point on the border between northern Gaza Strip and Israel.

The Palestinian Ministry of Health said in a press statement that the Israeli army shot and killed, during the Marches of Return, more than 250 Palestinians and wounded around 25,000 others, most of them wounded with live gunfire.

The Egyptian delegation visits Gaza regularly to hold talks on ending the internal feuds and split between Hamas and Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas' Fatah Party. Enditem
