TOKYO -- A co-pilot at the Air Japan subsidiary of All Nippon Airways Co. (ANA) was prohibited from flying after he was tested positive in an alcohol test, ANA said on Saturday, a new addition to the last series of drinking scandals involving Japanese airline companies.

The co-pilot in his 40s consumed alcohol on Thursday night that was equivalent to two middle-sized bottles of beer, or about one liter, which was more than twice the limit set by the company, local media reported. (Japan-Airline)

JALALABAD, Afghanistan -- A woman was injured as a sticky bomb targeted a rickshaw in Jalalabad, capital of Afghanistan's eastern Nangarhar province on Saturday, provincial government spokesman Ataullah Khogiani said.

According to the official, the explosive device was planted on a rickshaw and went off at around 11:00 a.m. local time injuring one woman. (Afghanistan-Bombing)

CANBERRA -- South Australia (SA) has become the nation's first state to launch a multi-agency task force targeting methylamphetamine supply and distribution.
