NEW DELHI -- A MiG-27 fighter jet belonging to Indian Air Force (IAF) crashed in India's western state of Rajasthan on Tuesday evening, officials said.

BANGKOK -- Thailand's Election Commission has not reached a conclusion as to whether it will forward Thai Raksa Chart Party's case to the constitutional court to dissolve the party over its nomination of the king's sister as candidate for prime minister, the commission said in a press release on Tuesday.

HONG KONG -- A magnitude-5.9 earthquake jolted 35km NNE of Agrihan, Northern Mariana Islands at 12:34:15 GMT on Tuesday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.

TOKYO -- Nissan Motor Co. announced Tuesday that owing to weaker international vehicle sales, it has lowered its net profit outlook for the business year ending March 31.
