TUNIS, Feb. 12 (Xinhua) -- Germany will grant Tunisia 40 million euros (45.29 million U.S. dollars) to finance a new project on national information system, Tunisian Ministry of Investment, Development and International Cooperation said in a statement Tuesday.
"The project aimed at digitizing the entire country's administrative system and establishing a computer platform that guarantees the connectivity of the entire network of ministries," according to the statement.
Tunisia Minister of Investment, Development and International Cooperation, Zied Laadhari, emphasized the importance of the project and its "priority" in the major reform projects launched by Tunisian government.
Laadhari said digital transformation, especially in administrative areas, is very important for economic development. Enditem
