LONDON, Feb. 12 (Xinhua) -- British stocks rose Tuesday, with the benchmark FTSE 100 Index up by 0.06 percent, or 4.03 points, to close at 7,133.14 points.
NMC Health, a private healthcare services provider, soared 1.89 percent, the top gainer of the blue chips. DCC and SSE increased by 1.69 percent and 1.53 percent, respectively.
TUI AG, a Germany-based integrated tourism group, was the worst performer in the blue chips, with its shares losing 7.45 percent. Sainsbury, one of the largest operators of supermarkets in the UK, dropped 3.40 percent.
