LONDON, Feb. 14 (Xinhua) -- British stocks closed flat Thursday, with the benchmark FTSE 100 Index up by 0.09 percent, or 6.17 points, to close at 7,197.01 points.
Micro Focus International, a multinational software and information technology business, soared 12.26 percent, the top gainer of the blue chips. Astrazeneca and Hikma Pharmaceuticals increased by 7.48 percent and 2.14 percent, respectively.
Coca-Cola HBC AG, a Coca-Cola anchor bottler, was the worst performer in the blue chips, with its shares losing 8.57 percent.
