NAIROBI, Feb. 14 (Xinhua) -- Kenya will host the second edition of the Sunshine Golf Tour from June 27-30, organizer Andy Watt announced on Thursday.

Speaking during the launch of the KCB Karen Masters Golf Tournament in Nairobi, Watt said over 150 professionals from across the globe and five Kenyan amateurs will take part in the event.

"We brought the Sunshine Tour forward to June in order to attract the best golfers all over the world and to also give the Kenyans more time to take on the foreigners," Watt said.

The Sunshine Tour, a men's professional golf tour based in South Africa, went deeper into Africa in 2018 when the KCB Karen Masters was held at Karen Country Club just outside Kenya's capital of Nairobi in July. Enditem
