JERUSALEM, Feb. 17 (Xinhua) -- The Israeli Innovation Authority announced on Sunday that it will grant four Israeli companies a total of 1 million U.S. dollars for research and development (R&D) of healthcare-related technology solutions with global impact.
Israeli companies will be able to register for the competition until March 28, and the four winning companies will be announced in December 2019.
The governmental Israel Innovation Authority promotes innovation in the state's industry, with an emphasis on the Israeli hi-tech industry, which is the main engine of growth in Israel's economy.
The authority's role is to initiate R&D activities funded by the Israeli government and to provide budgets for entrepreneurs and industrialists. Enditem
