BAGHDAD -- Iraqi President Barham Salih on Monday called on international community to support Iraq in rebuilding its infrastructure after the defeat of Islamic State (IS) group.

Salih stressed the necessity to assist the affected cities by the battles against IS group, and the need to "pursue programs and development plans in cooperation with the United Nations to improve the status of these cities," the statement said.

UNITED NATIONS -- UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres expects the implementation of the first phase of Hodeidah troop withdrawal "will be carried out immediately" by the Yemeni warring parties, a UN spokesman said on Monday.
