Kuwait inks 39.44-mln-USD loan deal to fund road construction in Bosnia and Herzegovina

KUWAIT CITY, Feb. 19 (Xinhua) -- Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development (KFAED) signed on Tuesday a loan agreement with Bosnia and Herzegovina worth 11.6 million Kuwaiti dinars (39.44 million U.S. dollars) to fund its road construction project.

The project aims to develop transportation between Bosnia and Herzegovina to reduce traffic jam, KFAED said in a statement.

It is the fifth loan provided by Kuwait to the country, the fund noted.

KFAED previously provided Bosnia and Herzegovina with two grants to support water and sewage project as well as a transportation project in this country. Enditem
