ANZ bank's financial literacy program to help Fijian youths

SUVA, Feb. 27 (Xinhua) -- A new partnership between ANZ Bank and Ola Fou was launched in Fiji on Wednesday where youths will be given the opportunity to take part in MoneyMinded and Business Basics in ANZ's financial literacy program.

Ola Fou aims to empowers young Pacific leaders to work for positive change in their communities.

ANZ Fiji Country Head Saud Minam said as part of their initial three-year partnerships, ANZ will provide Ola Fou with training and accreditation to deliver both MoneyMinded and Business Basics.

Minam said the program had been successful in improving financial literacy and will add value to the work that Ola Fou is already doing in Fiji's communities.

Around 12,000 people in Fiji have taken part in the MoneyMinded program.

Ola Fou Fiji Chairman Geoffrey Nainoca said they are pleased to partner with ANZ to deliver MoneyMinded in the villages and settlements that they support. Enditem
