HONG KONG -- China's Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) will further expand its market coverage to create more room for development for enterprises, according to the 2019-2020 budget delivered by the HKSAR government's financial chief on Wednesday.

Hong Kong will expand its market coverage by enlarging Free Trade Agreement (FTA) networks and seizing opportunities from the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and the Belt and Road Initiative.

KATHMANDU -- A helicopter carrying at least six people including Nepal's Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation Minister Rabindra Adhikari went missing in eastern Nepal Wednesday afternoon, local media reported quoting a government official.

Secretary at the Ministry of Home Affairs Prem Kumar Rai confirmed with local media that the helicopter carrying Minister Adhikari and five others has gone missing. (Nepal-Chopper-Missing)

NEW DELHI -- Indian authorities Wednesday ordered closure of airports for civilian aeroplanes in Indian-controlled Kashmir and Amritsar of Punjab state in wake of the growing tension with neighboring Pakistan, officials said.

"The air traffic of civilian flights in all the airports here including Srinagar and Jammu have been suspended," an official in Srinagar said, adding that "the civilian aeroplanes that are parked here will not be allowed to take off until further orders." (India-Kashmir-Airport shutdown)

NEW DELHI/ISLAMABAD -- A pilot and a co-pilot of Indian Air Force (IAF) were killed after a Mi-17 jet crashed Wednesday in Indian-controlled Kashmir, Indian officials said.

The jet crashed at village Garend Kalan of Budgam, about 34 km south of Srinagar city, the summer capital of Indian-controlled Kashmir. (India-Fighter jet-Crash)

ISLAMABAD -- Pakistan army said on Wednesday the Pakistan Air Force has shot down two Indian fighter jets inside Pakistani airspace and ground troops arrested one pilot of the destroyed jet, according to a military statement.

Director General of the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), Pakistan army's media wing, Major General Asif Ghafoor said one of the aircraft fell inside Pakistan-administered Kashmir while the other fell inside Indian-controlled Kashmir. (Pakistan-India-Fighter jet)

VIENTIANE -- A water supply project, built by the China North Industries Group Corporation Limited (NORINCO), has been completed and handed over to the owner in Lao capital Vientiane Wednesday.
