KIEV, March 1 (Xinhua) -- Ukraine has raised a loan worth 529 million euro (about 602 million U.S. dollars) through Deutsche Bank under the guarantees provided by the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (IBRD), which is a part of the World Bank (WB) group, the Ukrainian Finance Ministry said on Friday.
The funds were received in two tranches worth 240 million euro (about 273.1 million dollars) and 289 million euro (about 328.9 million dollars) with a repayment period of four years and ten years respectively, the ministry said in a statement on its website.
In December 2018, the WB approved a 750-million-dollar policy-based guarantee for Ukraine. The first part of the guarantee was used by Kiev in the same month to get another loan from Deutsche Bank. Enditem
