GAZA March 10 (Xinhua) -- Israeli warplanes carried out on Sunday two predawn airstrikes on militants' facilities in northern and southern Gaza Strip, and no injuries were reported, according to medical and security sources.

The sources said that Israeli warplanes targeted a military post that belongs to Islamic Hamas movement's armed wing, al-Qassam Brigades in northern Gaza Strip, adding that the post was badly damaged and no injuries were reported.

The Israeli warplanes also struck a building west of the southern Gaza town of Khan Younis, destroying it but not causes any injuries.

The two Israeli army airstrikes against Gaza came shortly after an Israeli army spokesman announced that a homemade rocket was fired from Gaza into southern Israel, but causing no damages or injuries.

No one claimed responsibility for the rocket attack.

Israeli warplanes have been carrying out daily airstrikes on militants' facilities and posts all over the Gaza Strip for six days with Israeli side saying that they are launched in response to releasing balloons and firing rockets to Israel from the Hamas-ruled coastal enclave.

A 23-year-old Palestinian was killed and 42 wounded on Friday during clashes in eastern Gaza between dozens of demonstrators and Israeli soldiers stationed on the border.

The clashes were part of rallies and protests called the marches of return which started on March 30 last year. Since then according to Gaza health ministry officials, the Israeli army has killed more than 260 and wounded more than 29,000. Enditem
