HONG KONG, March 12 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.9 jolted 58km W of Kandrian, Papua New Guinea at 16:25:53 GMT on Monday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.

The epicenter, with a depth of 53.13 km, was initially determined to be at 6.1136 degrees south latitude and 149.0272 degrees east longitude. Enditem
