TBILISI, March 13 (Xinhua) -- The Georgian State Security Service detained two individuals in the Kobuleti region of western Georgia on Tuesday for the alleged illegal possession and sale of radioactive materials.

According to the Service, both of the detainees are Georgian citizens and they intended to sell radioactive uranium-238 which weighs 40.19 grams and is worth 2.8 million U.S. dollars.
