French shares gain 0.82 pct

PARIS, March 14 (Xinhua) -- French shares edged up on Thursday, with the benchmark Paris CAC 40 up 0.82 percent, or 43.40 points, to close at 5,349.78 points.
Of the 40 selected large companies, 31 gained in the day.
International oil and gas industry service provider TechnipFMC advanced 5.06 percent. French-based international ophthalmic optics company EssilorLuxottica rose 3.32 percent. French concessions and construction company Vinci rose 2.17 percent.
French banking company Credit Agricole lost 0.45 percent. Cap Gemini, a global leader in consulting, technology and outsourcing services, lost 0.61 percent and French software company Dassault Systemes went down by 0.72 percent. Enditem
