Spanish stocks up by 0.72 percent

MADRID, March 18 (Xinhua) -- Spanish share values rose by 0.72 percent on Monday with the benchmark stock market index Ibex-35 opening on 9,342.20 points and closing on 9,409.10 points.
A total of 26 of the 35 selected large companies saw their shares gain value in the day, while nine made losses.
Monday's best performer was the savings bank, Caixabank, with a 3.03 percent rise in share values, followed by the Banco Sabadell with a 2.60 percent increase and petrochemical giant, Repsol, which saw share prices climb by 2.40 percent.
Among the day's losers, International Airline group IAG saw shares drop by 2.20 percent, while renewable energy and cellulose producer ENCE Energia y Celulosa suffered 1.61-percent loss. Shares of industrial group CIE Automotive shed 0.83 percent. Enditem
