Canadian stock market close lower

TORONTO, March 20 (Xinhua) -- Canada's main stock market fell on Wednesday as health-care stocks were weaker.

The Toronto Stock Exchange's S&P/TSX Composite Index was down 20.54 points, or 0.13 percent, to close the day at 16,167.56 points.

The Canadian dollar recovered 0.16 cents to 0.7521 U.S. dollar.

On the market, a total of 125 issues rose while 114 fell. There were nine new highs and two new lows with total volume of 261.7 million shares.

The energy group rose 3.10 points,or 2.0 percent while the financials sector slipped 2.15 points, or 0.7 percent.

The most heavily traded shares by volume included shares of Aurora Cannabis Inc and Crescent Point Energy Corp.

Aurora Cannabis Inc. lost 19 cents, or 1.44 percent, to 13.03 Canadian dollars on 22.9 million shares.

Crescent Point Energy Corp. Dropped 38 cents, or 9.52 percent, to 4.37 Canadian dollars on 8.06 million shares. Enditem
