LUSAKA, March 21 (Xinhua) -- The following are news highlights in Zambia's major media outlets on Thursday.

-- Zambian and Sweden have signed a bilateral agreement aimed at boosting economic prosperity and improving people's well-being.

Zambia's Finance Minister Margaret Mwanakatwe and Swedish International Development Cooperation Secretary of State Olson Fridh signed the four-year agreement which is also aimed at promoting human rights, democracy, rule of law, gender equality, health and renewable energy. (Zambia Daily Mail)

-- Zambian President Edgar Lungu says he will not allow irresponsible media to cause chaos in the country through irresponsible reporting.

Lungu said he was a tolerant leader who had on many occasions been on the receiving end of insults but would not tolerate the media to cause disorder in the country. (Daily Nation)

-- The Zambian government has urged investors to prioritize the safety of local employees.

In remarks following the death of four miners in various mines in the last two days, Bright Nundwe, Copperbelt Province Permanent Secretary said the government was not pleased with the increased accidents in the mines and urged employers to prioritize the safety of workers. (The Mast) Enditem
