NEW DELHI -- The Indian government Friday banned Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) headed by Mohammed Yasin Malik, officials said.

The order of ban was issued by Indian home ministry after declaring the organization as an unlawful association under a government directive. (India-Separatist Group)

JAKARTA -- Indonesian gross domestic product growth is estimated to accelerate to 5.2 percent in the first quarter as consumption drifts higher, governor of central bank Perry Warjiyo said here on Friday.

N'DJAMENA -- At least 23 Chadian soldiers lost their lives in an ambush by the terror group Boko Haram in the night from Thursday to Friday, on the shores of Lake Chad, according to military sources quoted Friday by the Chadian information website Alwihda Info.
