UNITED NATIONS -- Most United Nations Security Council members expressed regret on Wednesday over the decision by the United States to recognize Israel's sovereignty over the Golan Heights.

SAN FRANCISCO -- U.S. top aircraft manufacturer Boeing Company on Wednesday announced a software update designed to fix bugs in the flight control system of its 737 MAX jets that led to two deadly crashes in less than five months.

QALAT, Afghanistan -- Seven police were killed in Siory district of the southern Zabul province in a clash Thursday, head of provincial council Ata Jan Haqbayan said.

MINSK -- The Trilateral Contact Group (TCG) in Ukraine is concerned over the increased number of ceasefire violations in the conflict zone in eastern Ukraine, the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe's (OSCE) Special Representative Martin Sajdik told reporters on Wednesday.
