ADDIS ABABA, March 30 (Xinhua) -- The following are news highlights in Ethiopia's major media outlets on Saturday.

-- Ethiopia's President Sahle-Work Zewde has held talks with officials of the Ethiopian Patriots' Association.

Lij Daniel Jote Mesfin, President of the association, has presented details on mandates and overall activities of the association, according to Office of the President. (Fana Broadcasting Corporate/FBC)

-- Ethiopian livestock development stakeholders on Friday held an inception workshop which discussed a 15-million Euro project at the International Livestock Research Institute.

-- The 2019 World Press Freedom Day Global Conference will take place in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia from 2 to 3 May.

Jointly organized by UNESCO, the Government of Ethiopia, and the African Union Commission (AUC), the international conference will be held at the Headquarters of the African Union. (FBC)

-- India's friendly relation and engagement with African countries is progressing well, Ethiopia's State Minister of Foreign Affairs, Markos Tekle, has said.

He made the remarks on Friday at the opening of a two-day Indian Council of World Affairs India-Africa Conference, whereby here on Friday, he said India's structural engagement with African countries is growing. (ENA) Enditem
