BRUSSELS -- China and the European Union (EU) on Tuesday reaffirmed in a joint statement their commitment to multilateralism and opposition to protectionism.

WASHINGTON -- U.S. Attorney General William Barr said Tuesday he will release a redacted version of the Mueller report from the Russia probe "within a week" at a hearing in Congress.

NEW DELHI -- Rashtriya Swayamsewak Sangh (RSS) leader Chanderkant Sharma who was shot at inside a hospital earlier on Tuesday in Indian-controlled Kashmir succumbed to his injuries, official sources confirmed.

His bodyguard had died instantly after an unidentified assailant opened fire at the RSS leader inside the hospital in Kishtwar area of Indian-controlled Kashmir. (India-Hospital Firing)

TOKYO -- An F-35 fighter jet of the Japanese Air Self-Defense Force (ASDF) disappeared from radar in northern Japan on Tuesday during a drill, the ASDF quoted by local media said.

The fighter jet, specifically an F-35A deployed at Misawa Air Base in northeastern Japan, lost contact over the Pacific at about 7:27 p.m. (local time) on Tuesday during the drill, according to the ASDF. (Japan-Fighter Jet) Enditem
