Armenia, Czech Republic ink military-technical cooperation agreement

Yerevan, April 9 (Xinhua) -- Armenian Defense Minister David Tonoyan and his Czech counterpart Lubomir Metnar Tuesday signed a military-technical cooperation agreement in Yerevan.

Tonoyan said "the agreement signed today sets areas of mutual interest, cooperation format and procedures," according to the state-run Armenpress.

Metnar, on his part, said that Czech military-industrial complex has a lot to offer to Armenian counterparts.

Metnar also said that he has offered to train Armenian military doctors in Czech education institutions.

So far, about 300 Armenian soldiers have finished training in Czech institutions. Enditem
