AMMAN, April 13 (Xinhua) -- Jordan will host a trilateral summit with Cyprus and Greece, to be attended by Jordanian King Abdullah II, Cypriot President Nicos Anastasiades, and Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras on Sunday, according to an official statement from the Royal Court on Saturday.

The second trilateral summit will discuss means to expand cooperation among the three countries, especially in economy and investment, and build on the outcomes of the first summit, hosted by Cyprus in January 2018.

The summit will also cover the latest regional developments and efforts to achieve peace and stability in the region.

Jordan, Cyprus, and Greece agreed in 2018 to launch a trilateral partnership to advance cooperation in vital areas, and a number of agreements and memorandums of understanding were signed in the fields of protection of antiquities, intellectual property and renewable energy. Enditem
