FRANKFURT, April 16 (Xinhua) -- German stocks edged up on Tuesday, with the benchmark DAX index up 81.04 points, or 0.67 percent, to close at 12,101.32 points.
Marketplace organizer for the trading of shares and securities Deutsche Boerse group won the most among the blue chips, with its shares up 4.07 percent. Global internet technology and financial services provider Wirecard and industrial giant Thyssenkrupp rose by 3.56 percent and 2.29 percent respectively.
Energy group RWE lost the most among the blue chips, by falling 2.46 percent. Energy group E.ON and personal-care company Beiersdorf went down by 1.45 percent and 1.22 percent respectively.
German insurance and financial services company Allianz was the most-traded share with a turnover of 261.2 million euros (295.1 million U.S. dollars). Enditem
