CAPE TOWN, April 21 (Xinhua) -- The following are news highlights in South Africa's major media outlets on Sunday.

-- There has been no final draft report on South Africa's much-debated land reform issue, the expert advisory panel on land reform said on Saturday.

"The panel is currently finalizing its report for consideration by the Inter-Ministerial Committee and the Presidency as planned. Therefore, there is no final draft that has been submitted as a report yet," chairperson of the expert advisory panel, Vuyo Mahlati said. (News24)

-- Democratic Alliance (DA) Member of Parliament (MP) Alf Lees said on Saturday the emergency plan by the government to bail out Eskom shows that the power utility is in a financial crisis.

On Friday, Finance Minister Tito Mboweni revealed to Parliament the plan to bail out Eskom. (Eyewitness News)

-- President Cyril Ramaphosa said on Saturday he will take action, including giving marching orders to officials who are failing to give services to the people.
