ADDIS ABABA, April 24 (Xinhua) -- The following are news highlights in Ethiopia's major media outlets on Wednesday.

-- Ethiopia's Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed arrived in China on Tuesday to attend the second Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) forum which will be held from 25 to 27 April in Beijing. (Fana Broadcasting Corporate/FBC)

-- The preparation to fully utilize transport services between Ethiopia and Eritrea is finalized and the country is ready to launch actual operation, Ethiopia's Transport Minister, Dagmawit Moges, has revealed. (Ethiopian News Agency/ENA)

-- Ethiopia and Rwanda have agreed to work more closely on exploring ways of strengthening cooperation on youth affairs.

Ethiopia's Minister of Women, Children and Youth, Yalem Tsegay, met with Rosemary Mbabazi, Minister of Youth of Rwanda in Kigali on Tuesday. (FBC)

-- Ethiopia's Deputy Prime Minister Demeke Mekonnen attended the African leaders emergency summit held in Cairo, Egypt on Tuesday to address the situations in Sudan and Libya.
