FRANKFURT, May 3 (Xinhua) -- German stocks edged up on Friday, with the benchmark DAX index up 67.33 points, or 0.55 percent, to close at 12,412.75 points.
Sportswear and equipment maker Adidas won the most among the blue chips, with its shares up 9.13 percent. Renal dialysis equipment supplier Fresenius Medical and European health care company Fresenius SE rose by 1.41 percent and 1.34 percent respectively.
German airlines Lufthansa lost the most among the blue chips, by falling 2.09 percent. Global internet technology and financial services provider Wirecard and industrial giant Thyssenkrupp were down by 1.08 percent and 0.97 percent, respectively.
Adidas was the most-traded share with a turnover of 497.8 million euros (552.5 million U.S. dollars). Enditem
