Jordan king approves cabinet reshuffle

AMMAN, May 9 (Xinhua) -- King Abdullah II of Jordan on Thursday approved reshuffle in the government of Prime Minister Omar Razzaz.

The new ministers were sworn in before the king.

Salameh Hammad was appointed Minister of Interior, Walid Masri Minister of Local Administration, Yasera Ghouseh Minister of State for Development of Institutional Performance.

Sami Daoud was appointed Minister of State for Prime Ministry Affairs, and Nidal Batayneh Minister of Labor.

This cabinet reshuffle is the third in the government of Razzaz who was appointed in 2018 following the resignation of former Prime Minister Hani Mulki. Enditem
