SINGAPORE, May 10 (Xinhua) -- Singapore stocks closed higher on Friday, with the benchmark Straits Times Index (STI) going up 0.12 percent, or 3.80 points, to close at 3,273.50.
A total of 981.97 million shares changed hands with a turnover of 1.07 billion Singapore dollars (about 0.79 billion U.S. dollars). Losers outnumbered gainers by 195 to 193.
The STI index went down 0.43 percent, or 14.14 points, to close at 3,269.70 on Thursday. Enditem
