MADRID, May 10 (Xinhua) -- Spanish share values ended a week of losses when they rose by 0.25 percent on Friday, with the benchmark stock market index Ibex-35 opening on 9,095.20 points and closing on 9,117.50 points.
The shares of 22 of the 35 companies trading on the Ibex-35 rose in value, while those of 13 went down.
Friday's best performing company was the Melia Hotels International which saw shares go up by 2.24 percent, followed by industrial group CIE Automotive with a rise of 2.23 percent in share prices, while shares in cellulose and energy producer Ence Energy and Cellulose went up by 2.18 percent.
The day's worst performers were infrastructure company Acciona, with a 3.02 percent fall in share prices. Steel producer Arcelormittal had 2.63 percent knocked off its share price, while shares in pharmaceutical and hospital group Grifols, shed 1.79 percent. Enditem
