LONDON, May 10 (Xinhua) -- British stocks decreased on Friday, with the benchmark FTSE 100 Index down by 0.06 percent, or 4.12 points, to close at 7,203.29 points.
Bunzl, a multinational distribution and outsourcing company, was the worst performer among the blue chips, with its shares losing 2.97 percent. Imperial Brands, a British multinational tobacco company, dropped 2.83 percent. British Land, a commercial property company, fell 2.40 percent.
Ferguson, a multinational plumbing and heating products distributor, soared 2.87 percent, the top gainer of the blue chips. Intertek Group and International Consolidated Airlines Group increased by 1.99 percent and 1.90 percent, respectively. Enditem
