DAMASCUS, May 11 (Xinhua) -- The Syrian army has found Israeli weapons and medicine left by the rebels in the southern Quneitra province, state news agency SANA reported on Saturday.

The weapons were found stashed in formerly rebel-held areas in Quneitra and were uncovered during the Syrian army's search for land mines.

The rebels withdrew from Quneitra which is close to the Israeli-occupied Golan Heights late last year to rebel-held areas in northwestern Syria.

The Syrian government has repeatedly accused the rebels of receiving support from the United States and Israel. Enditem
