--The African National Congress (ANC) has been handed a sixth straight term to govern South Africa on what was nevertheless its worst electoral showing since 1994.
Although the party won a healthy majority with 57.5 percent - or 230 out of the 400 parliamentary seats, it represented 19 seats fewer than in 2014.(News24)
