TOKYO, May 14 (Xinhua) -- Tokyo stocks retreated on Tuesday morning as market players remained risk adverse amid mounting concerns for the global economic outlook.
The 225-issue Nikkei Stock Average dropped 154.36 points, or 0.73 percent, from Monday to 21,036.92.
The broader Topix index of all First Section issues on the Tokyo Stock Exchange, meanwhile, lost 11.70 points, or 0.76 percent, to 1,529.44.
Rubber product, farm and fishery, and marine transportation issues comprised those that declined the most by the morning break. Enditem
