TEHRAN, May 14 (Xinhua) -- Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif on Tuesday warned against "suspicious acts of sabotage" on oil facilities in the region, Press TV reported.
Zarif made the remarks following a meeting with his Indian counterpart Sushma Swaraj in the Indian capital New Delhi.
During the meeting, the officials discussed "regional issues, dangers posed by hardliners in the U.S. administration and the region, and the concerns about the suspicious acts of sabotage that are taking place in the region," Zarif was quoted as saying.
On Sunday, the United Arab Emirates said that four civilian trading vessels of various nationalities were subjected to "sabotage operations" near the country's territorial waters in the Sea of Oman, east of the port of Fujairah.
On Tuesday, Saudi Arabia also said that its oil pipeline booster stations were attacked by drones.
